The Metabo HPT 18V Compact 3.0Ah Lithium Ion (339782M) battery is a powerful, long-lasting battery for a variety of Metabo HPT 18V slide-type power tools. It delivers increased productivity and run-time thanks to the large 3.0Amp Hour (Ah) capacity. The Amp hour capacity refers to how long the battery can last before recharging.The 18V Lithium Ion battery is surprisingly compact, coming in at only half a pound and 3/4” more compact than a traditional 3.0Ah battery (compared to model BSL1830). It provides balance to cordless tools without adding to user fatigue. For protection from the elements, this battery features a resin coating. Its complex circuitry also prevents damage from overload, overcharge, and over-discharge of the battery.
